Lights on Autism
researches the most debilitating forms of autism to help those most affected

We're a non-profit organization increasing awareness and attention to the science and research of severe forms of autism in order to help those most affected by it. We're scientists working to understand the genetic and neurobiological components that lead to autism. By targeting the disorder’s root causes, we can make significant improvements in treatment for the spectrum.
Adequate funding for scientific research on severe forms of autism has become more difficult. Lights on Autism directs funding to research some of the most debilitating cases. We engage with researchers, doctors, affected families and scientists to support this important cause. Help us change lives.
Dr. Abha Gupta, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Child Study Center, and Neuroscience at the Yale School of Medicine. She specializes in autism research and autism studies -with a particular focus on severe and understudied forms of autism.
